An itsy-bitsy town
Cradles between two mountains
With the bones of beauty unfound

Wake up to crisp air around
Fluttering prayer flags
Chants play a peaceful sound

This jaunt, I was looking for all along
A sumptuous breakfast my fuel
Got ready to know the unknown

Jagged rocks and hairpin bends abound
Climbing the mountains, no small feat
A temple on top the cliff’s crown

Calmness of the place did astound
Devoid of the eddies of the world
My heart sings aloud

A kaleidoscope of colours to surround
The town glitters for the carnival
Festivities call me down

Some indulging I allow
Go down, partake in celebrations
Music plays, flowers, people whorl around

Monks with rosary walk along
Dash to seek some time with them alone
Blessed, me radiant, effect profound

Thanks for reading! 💚
