Embrace the joy

Autumn’s knocking on the season’s door
Let’s see what’s in store
The warm soup, the spices you hoard
Savour them, when it’s slightly cold

The harsh summer finally gives in
Cool air brings cheer and grin
Pine cones scattered on every turn
Rest and rejuvenation in perfect sync

The yellow, orange and scarlet leaves
Colour the ground and the trees
With the blowing of a slight breeze
They dance in the air as they please

Harvest time is here
Fresh apples and grapes everywhere
Animals eat, gather more, for protection and extra layer
Birds migrate to sunny place there or anywhere

Chrysanthemums bloom
No time for glum and gloom
Abundance of nuts and grains in nature’s womb
Creation sings a joyous tune

The impermanence of nature
This transition can never be felt greater
Change is inevitable, even the sun, a little fader
Time for self -reflection to grow inwards in stature
