Do We Need More hate?
How can it be cool?
An expat vlogger starts his journey of vlogging from my country. He visits different places extensively and showcases them in his vlogs. He shows good parts and somewhat not so good. All this looks honest and raw and I am hooked.
The number of views slowly increase and soon he manages an impressive following.
Now, this guy visits other countries too and shares the vlogs of other places as well. It is a nice experience to know about other places, their culture and so on.
His channel grows immensely and boasts a whopping following of more than 4 million. Surely must’ve made boatloads of money.
He again visits my country — to make more vlogs. With so much success that he’s achieved, he seems to be a changed man(not for better, but for worse).
This time he seems to be on a mission. The mission of HATE. He knows my country very well, but now he chooses and showcases only the bad parts. He criticises heavily and pokes fun at just about everything. Passes incendiary remarks. Sometimes I wonder — is he the same guy?
As a viewer I find his approach ghastly and downright disgusting. The whole thing SUCKS!
